The purpose of Animal Haven Farm:
In 2001, my husband and I moved to a small farm in the mountains of Southwest Virginia. We always said that if our wish were to come true, we would name our farm, 'Animal Haven Farm'. We wanted a place where animals could come and seek refuge and be taken care of by us. During the past 8 years we have been able to place 30-40 dogs and cats. Some of these pets have either wandered onto our property or been abandoned on or near our farm. We have even found some abandoned at dump sites or along the side of the road. We have taken them in, fed and loved them and were able to place them in good loving homes. The ones that are not adopted will stay with us to live out their lives, no matter how long that might be.
If you love animals, you can help: We do this because of our love for God's creatures, and NOT for monetary gain. We accept donations, either monetary or gift cards to places such as Walmart or Petsmart to cover expenses for food and pet supplies.
